So, we all had breakfast together, H even got involved in cooking. S6 had a play date scheduled and I put the baby down for a nap after we all ate.... so it was just me and H in the living room. I made myself as busy as possible by cleaning up the breakfast mess. H got his book and chose to read on the couch (as opposed to being in any other room in the house??) I found something interesting on TV and we sat on the couch watching together (he never put the book down, but was willing to talk when I said something)....
**something that was a problem in our M, H always said I would sit next to him on the couch and he would still feel lonely... I didn't try to engage him in conversations... this morning I really wanted to have a good talk- but I couldn't ever find a topic that he would stay engaged in. And of course, I would have loved to be able to hold his hand or give him a kiss (so he wouldn't be lonely), but I didn't pursue**

We sat there like this for 2 hours! I got changed for my dance class (never told H what I was doing and he didn't ask)... when I came downstairs, he did a double take at me- which I don't think he though I saw I was wearing yoga pants and a snug tank top (per the class recommendations)... he hasn't seen me wear this kind of stuff since I've lost all the weight and I KNOW that I looked good

My GAL for today included: pole dance class (btw- really FUN!), tanning bed, found a great thrift store and got 5 pairs of name-brand jeans, 2 shirts and a pair of UGGS-all for $28!!!

When I got home, H was there with the kids... odd because he said he had plans. He was working on his truck stereo... I sat in the truck with him and asked him to show me what he was doing and if I could help (probably sounds like pursuing- but this is a 180- to show interest in his stuff, since normally I would have just walked inside and left him out there alone.) We talked for a while: H mentioned that the kids were well behaved at the *gym* (I emphasize this because as of 3 days ago, he was supposed to take the to OW's house while he worked out...wonder why that didn't happen?!). S6 came out to ask about dinner to both of us, H quickly responded that he wasn't going to eat dinner here tonight... I chimed in quickly so that it wouldn't register with S6 and changed the topic to what S6 wanted to eat. I walked with him back in the house, and H stayed outside with the truck until he lost the sunlight.

I'm not going to ask why he won't stay for dinner. I'm not going to ask where he's going... and I'm really trying to not take it personally or get upset.

Sounds like you had a good day! I'm glad. H and I are soooo far from having any kind of family time together. I can't be around him at the moment without getting emotional so.. Better to just avoid him. But I admire your interaction w/ H and hope I can get there soon.
