Btw, my divorce papers were filed today. Sometime in the next two months I will become a free man. SDA lady and I talked about our marriages and she was in a similar boat to me. She was hanging on trying to make something work until she just got physically sick from it. Finally, after her doctor said "divorce him" she decided to do it. She fought to save it for 8 years and was married for twenty. She told me it was so hard to talk to me about this but she wanted to. Her parents still don't know she's divorced because in the Philippines that is a big shame. There is no legal divorce in there. She filed for it here. She says some day she'll tell them but that day isn't now. Her daughter and sister know but telling Mom and Dad will just have to wait.
