LOL actually I did! It made no sense in regards to me. She has given notice to her employer and is lining up a friend from HK to take over for her. She's going to apply for new jobs and when her Permanent Status comes through apply to a pharmaceutical technology course. She was a nurse in the Philippines and wants to transfer her skills to a different career in the medical field. She can't go to school until her Status comes through, she's waited 18 months already...for a Status that used to take 6-9 months. She can stay with her employer until she either gets a new contract or the other person comes from HK to take over and that takes 6-9 months. We talked for about an hour last night about this and other stuff from our day. She's so good at making it about us and not just about her. She's just as interested in my mundane day and amusing anecdotes as she is in her news. Have I mentioned that she's a real sweetheart lol?
