No I am not hibernating! Lol. I've been keeping busy with work and the kids. Wish I could say I was doing something exciting. Just settling into post holiday routine.

Hi Kat! Routine is nice sometimes. Excitement is good in small doses or at Disneyland LOL.

Well it is a busy routine at least! Getting to deal with my "mini me" turning into a true teen who isn't so sure how much Mom she needs. The continuing joy of my oldest struggling with becoming an adult and my 16 year old needing time alone, missing the father in his life and yet still keeping up with family. My 11 year old has been sick a couple of times in the past couple of weeks and is surprised that middle school is really harder than grade school!

I suppose it is all normal and glad that I am here for all of it. I am still in love with my puppy and my female cat is showing me a lot more attention. smile

Sometimes the fun just never ends! Some motor in my furnace locked up last night. Of course it is now colder. Originally they weren't finding the right part but I guess they were able to get it since they called and said they were on their way to my house. Just a mere $700 for the deal today. I would replace it if I could but since I just threw some money at it this fall and last month and I don't have Christmas totally paid off, I don't have my reserves back up yet.

At least I know I am alive right?

That [censored] Kat!

You should look into rebates and such on new ones. The electric/gas companies will often give rebates on models that qualify as energy efficient and such. Also, some types of energy efficient home improvements qualify for federal tax credits.

Hang in there!
