Well, I have been reading the Newcomers board since I first posted my sitch in February. I have spent time working on me and am in a place where I am happy about who I am now. My friend met this girl (I say girl cause she is ONLY 23) at a bar one night and we met her and her friend at IHOP later that night. After a few dinners/events the four of us attended, I decided that I wasn't just his wingman, I actually liked her friend. Well, she felt the same and we had an actualy date. This woman (she's 30) is a female version of me! We have so much in common. Though it's only been a few weeks, I think we have decided to be exclusive.
I am posting this, not only because I am excited about it, but to help people know that there will be a time when you will feel again. Take the time you need to work on yourself, but know you will feel/love again.
