OK, on to the next lady. I can't believe I'm still doing this! She's an East Indian lady and she's into Yoga and meditation, the first line of her profile states she's a "spiritual person". She has a Christian background...and is darn easy to look at too! Only issue is that she's 43 and I've been setting my sights on the ladies more my age of late. She also lives in my area of the city, that's always a bonus. I've updated my profile (and no, I didn't put the silly stuff from my previous thread). I like to move things around, delete things, add things depending on what I think the lady I'm zeroing in on will like. I don't lie, I accentuate what she might like. It's like job hunting, isn't it.
So, we'll see.

Umm...Wii, if you don't mind me asking - how old are you?

And what about her being 43 would be a problem? (Just curious, cuz it's an issue I've confronted in my own dating life. At first, I thought 6 years younger than me was too young lol. Since then, I've had a couple of much younger lovers, and my current boyfriend who is 9 years younger, feels just about right. He's 46 and I'm 55. But he's about to become a grandpa, and his oldest child is slightly older than my oldest, so we're at a similar stage of life.)

So - is a 43 year old a problem because she would have younger kids (but you do too, right?)? Or because of an assumed difference in libidos? Or because you'd like a woman who could retire with you in a few years? Just curious.

Libidos, what the hell is that lol?
I'm 53 kml, and I guess it's just the thought that when someone 10 years younger than me retires at 65 I'm likely to be dead lol! It's no biggie for me or I wouldn't have messaged her but it's something I think about sometimes. The last lady I dated, or whatever it was MM and I were doing, was 40 and the age difference didn't seem to be a problem in us getting along together, we had a great time...until it all went horribly wrong, of course lol.

Ah now I remember, the Libidos, they're a Mexican soccer team. I knew it would come to me! (OMG, I must be stopped)

Well - if you dream of traveling cross-country in an RV once you retire, then you might want a woman closer to your age - OR one who has enough money to retire early smile

Otherwise, I'm not sure that the age difference is a negative - think how much nicer your retirement might be, if you have a little lady bringing home the bacon while you're out golfing? lol

My only age-related issue with the younger boyfriend is - I listen to and play a lot of contemporary rock and roll, while he only likes old-school R and B from the 70's and 80's lol! In that regard, I'm a lot younger than him!

I dream of continuing to breathe when I retire, that's about as far as my retirement dreams have progressed. I think it's a good start, you must have a firm foundation to grow from grin

Hey kml, are you on POF? We could send each other inappropriate emails like "you're so hot, babe" OK, I could send that to you. I don't know what the ladies send that is inappropriate, haven't got one of those yet but I'm so hoping. I know in hi-tech weapons lady's profile she wrote "I don't respond to Hi babe, ur so hot, or you've got nice legs"... as if guys would actually write stuff like that, I'd have thought it would be far worse ha ha. OK the Babblemeister is going to bed now... be thankful for small mercies.

Very true G, but I think the success ratio is a lot higher when aiming for women in my age range. I don't write people off because of it. This lady was talking about things that I'd mentioned in my last thread that I'd discovered were important to me, so I took a shot. She has checked my profile, which is a good sign. In my brief experience in the online world I've noted that after my initial email 60% of women who then check my profile contact me (obviously I don't send out many emails ha ha), usually two days or so after they've viewed me. We'll see, we're on course lol.

60%? That's pretty good, Wii - you must be a handsome devil!
