Wow, I just realized that last year, on the same night I'm going to meet Bookkeeper, I was sitting in a surgical waiting room while my father had surgery for colon cancer. It was also on that night they told us it was terminal and there was nothing they could do. I remember driving to STBX's, three days before Christmas, to tell my girls that their grandfather was going to die. Whew, no matter how this coffee date goes it will be a far better night than that was.
