Thanks for stopping by WHG and IS.

I wanted to copy my update on 2step's thread over.

LITB - VERY nice to see you come around these parts. How are things with you? Did you move to NM yet? How are things going?

Things are beginning to fall into place for me. I haven’t moved to NM yet, but most of my belongings are already in storage down there.

I have interviewed and met with a contractor there 3 times since October and will be meeting with them again over the Christmas holiday. I’m hopeful that something will come to fruition at the beginning of the new year. I’m looking forward to having my kids every other week vs once a month for 2/3 days. Thankfully they seem to have made a decent transition.

My b-day happens to be the day after your XW’s b-day. While I was down there for Thanksgiving, my W, kids and MIL gave me early b-day cards. The one from the MIL was very nice. I had been working to overcome my animosity towards her as you may recall because I felt that she was part of the reason for my sitch. The card from her helped me come to the realization that it was solely my W’s decision. I’m glad to be rid of those feelings towards the MIL.

Oh and in my W’s card, she thanked me for being an amazing father. Quite the contrary to what was in her declaration for her ex-parte in July and apparently she does get my humor.

The D is on hold pending my relocating and new employment. No sense in getting it finalized only to have to revise the child support later.

In the meantime, I have picked up playing golf and plan on picking up another hobby or two after the holidays.

Hell, I gave a full blown update on your thread. It was longer than I had planned.
