Well Bookkeeper sent me a bunch of questions, one of which was "Are you born again" Ah yes. Unfortunately for her my theological concepts are more complex than just yes or no. So here was my reply: "Am I born again? I was born again when I was 12, I had a very emotional experience at a Church of the Nazarene which I was visiting (my family and I went to the United Church at the time). For the past four years I was involved in evangelical churches but decided to move to a more liberal church. I am a person who searches to understand theological concepts and wants to understand thoroughly what I believe. That can be a good thing at times and not so good at others! I respect everyone’s personal journey in regards to spirituality, it’s a complicated topic. The denomination I belong to now, like most liberal churches, does not emphasize the born again experience. So if you're looking for a guy who has his faith all figured out all the time, that's not me. I ask a lot of questions But I am a guy who is serious about faith and recognizes it's value in all our lives. Does that help you or confuse you lol?"
