Well, I can't say I'd agree with meeting with him for coffee to see what he wants. Who gives a crap what he wants. As you say - you don't have children together (that would be the one time you MIGHT consider meeting for coffee).
Sounds like it took you some time to work through your own stuff and he's still flailing around being a dick. Block him - that is the only thing that will stop him getting to you.
