Well, I ditched the teacher. As Kml said, all her interactions are just so unenthusiastic. She seems intent on making sure I know not to expect anything. Her last email felt a little over reactive to me. So, I decided I'm not driving across the city to meet someone who is probably looking for something different than I am. I emailed her "Hi, I think I'm going to pass on our meeting. In hindsight, I think we may be looking for different things. All the best and thanks again for the chatroom lingo :)" There are more enthusiastic fish in the sea!
