We didn't do the serving papers thing. I got a copy of the papers in the mail -- which prompted to make the one phone call to XW that I regret making. After that call I called my lawyer and he contacted her attorney and had them sent directly to him.
Congrats on the teacher. The one thing that I've been trying to stick to is trying to find educated women. XW and I ran out of things to talk about a long time ago and just ended up always talking about the kids. She had no intellectual curiosity and I hate monotony.
That's why I'm really hoping this waiting game with prof-40 pans out.
