Instant chemistry. Yes - I've felt it a few times in my life. When I met Ex, I was crushing badly on a guy in my class. After meeting Ex - I never gave my crush another thought. It was instant for sure!
I met one guy since Ex left that just knocked me off my feet. I fell head over heels instantly. He liked me. We dated. But I don't think he ever felt that real chemistry like I did. And he ended things suddenly when he met someone he felt it with.
I have met guys and felt it - like Gabby said - when it wasn't the right time. So I had to get past it.
With Josh - it was just a little different. It was more like drinking a great champagne. Filled me full of warm bubblies. I remember driving home, singing "This Kiss"(Faith Hill) at the top of my lungs and calling my girlfriend who lives 3,000 miles away to tell her I'd met The One. The right guy. Someone who made my heart sing.
Some people say you can build a great relationship from a great friendship. I'm not so sure. I don't think you can make that "in love" feeling just happen. I don't believe you can look at a person and think "He/she is just perfect for me" then expect it will work out. Because both people have to feel attraction. Sure a young, hot guy would make me feel excited but I'm not so sure the young hottie would find me "his type". LOL!
