Hey, i'm even praying....or something of the sort....for you. (and all of those in this horrible situation). U know, that's a big step for me. What I need to do is find a church that is accepting.....and ......well.....ROMB told me I'm on the fence. True. But in the spiritual/religious sense, you (and ROMB) have also been very very inspirational and non-judgemental. I appreciate everything. You're an all around genuine man. I've said it before....I have NO IDEA how/why W could/would let you go. Trust me, you're a man among men my friend.

Thanks so much, IS. You're very welcome. It's a privilege any time I can help. It helps me, too, in extracting the positive from my negative situation. smile

It's beena a couple of busy days here for me.

Saturday night I took my S to the tobyMac concert. We had a great time!

Got up before church on Sunday and ran 2.2 miles. Church was good. Again, I am amazed at the people there and the level of support I'm getting.

My name was also in the church program because I'm holding a football party at my house for the Men's group in a little less than 2 weeks. crazy There's probably about 1000 people at church between two campuses every Sunday. crazy What am I getting myself into? crazy It's Thanksgiving weekend, so I don't really expect it to be too overwhelming.

After church, I took my S to our favorite sports bar to watch the first half of the Bengals game. It was pretty rowdy and fun. Watched the second half at home.

Last night I went to a banquet for a buddy of mine who's helping to start a church in a small village. I love hearing stories and there was an ex-alcoholic who had a good one.

No contact with my W since Thursday. Sometimes I miss her and sometimes I honestly feel like I just need the space to work on myself more and spend more time with my S.

Sounds like another great weekend for you and your son, JB. I'm willing to bet that whatever your wife had on her agenda this past weekend, it wasn't near as fun and as satisfying as yours. You truly are one of the healthiest people in mind, body and spirit that I know. You have inspired so many people on this board, including me. God is using you in mighty ways through this storm. I know going through it stinks and hurts, but I hope you find comfort in knowing that you are blessing the lives of many other people.

I hope the big par-tae goes well! I have a feeling you are a "the more the merrier!" type of guy, so even if you have a larger than expected crowd, it will all work out and be a great time for everyone.

Take care, JB, and thanks for your words of encouragement on my thread. You always have a way of bringing a silver lining to a cloudy situation!

love & hugs, lc4

Hello jb, my dear internet friend who continues to inspire others!

I haven't been on the board in awhile but I do still think of many of you. I am so sorry that you still find yourself here. I really don't understand your W as I thought she would have realized what a wonderful man she was losing by this point.

Well, her loss unfortunately and I still have faith she will see that in time but she really is taking her sweet time! crazy

I still read the board from time to time but realized I needed a break to begin healing. The advice here is golden though and I hope to return someday to pay it forward once life slows down and my marriage is completely healed.

Thinking of you though and sending you prayers and virtual hugs,
E

Thanks Rick! I think the energy builds on itself. The more I do, the more I'm able to do. Hang in there man. Keep moving ahead!

Thanks, lc4. smile I truly believe God is using my situation in ways I would have never expected. It just blows me away sometimes.

Thanks lc4. Actually even having the par-tay is a 180 for me. I'm sure it will work out if I have a larger crowd. I've been praying about it. I've only been going to my Men's group for a few weeks, but I think of lot of these guys.

Well, my W is very stubborn and has a lot of pride. I'll admit I had made some mistakes in the past that may not seem big to most people, but they were HUGE to her. I don't think she's let go of those. I believe there's also some depression involved, and I don't think that is coloring things exactly rosy and it may be making it harder for her to overcome some of the above.
