Thanks everyone! The cost should be about $1200 my lawyer said. I'm hoping that included filing fees etc. I'm going to ask Voldemort to pay half as she has no expense in this at all. Lawyer told me that Voldy could choose when and where she wanted to be served the papers. She's coming by tonight to give me the marriage certificate as the court needs it. Anyway, the process is underway. I also met with that cute little social worker this afternoon, a nicer part of my day! I liked her, we met for half and hour before the client decided to bust up the party. Darn those clients! Lol. Anyway, I'm considering calling her and asking her out for dinner but I gotta think this through. It's really no big deal, I guess. I never see the woman, although we have one mutual client, and I do have all these great romantic Tagalog phrases that melt women's hearts and should not lie dormant! I suggested my agency do an assessment on the client and when it's done she can come back and go over it with me. I'm so bad!!!!So we'll see. I liked her, she's smart, funny, attractive and seemed to like me. Hmmm, decisions decisions.
