When you say: "We'll check with the IT Guy"

Who is the we, it doesn't take two of you to make that call...so which one of you is the WE?

I know who the 'we' is when my wife say's "We need..." and I always want to say: "Is there a mouse in your pocket? How did you become a we?"

And since this is all about communication : )

In your example...he did not actually say (your words from above) to check with the IT guy, all he said was that maybe the IT guy already did it.


and I can SEE how that could happen all the time.
