Tonight was teacher parent conference night for my S. I thought I was going to see my W tonight. I was prepared to offer her dinner with my S and me tonight. However, when it was time for the conference to start, she was nowhere to be seen. I thought she was just late again. I texted her and asked if she was still coming. After I finished the conference I checked my text messages. She FORGOT! She was very apologetic. I think my W felt worse about it than my S.
In the past, I would have reminded her prior to the conference. I have usually been the one to help her keep her schedule straight. Today, I didn't remind her. I guess I have to let her miss me, huh?
My S and I had a little bit of time together this evening. We ended up playing a board game before bedtime. He's off school tomorrow, so I am planning on working remotely.
