Sidebar: I have a friend in the banking industry who decided to run a little background check on my W's OM and new roomie. In addition to living rent-free, along with his mother, with my W (she told me he is going to cooking/chef school and is not going to look for a job), letting her send him several hundred dollars this past summer and paying for his move cross-country in September, he filed for personal bankruptcy a few years ago.
I hate the fact that he is such an upgrade...
