DG
So sorry for the confusion. I didn't mean to say that your FB was a bait for him... I didn't think you did that.

I was more focused about talking when hurt which is what H did and you did. That was what I was getting at.

Unfortunately you cannot stop the D..and there is some acceptance that will happen when you are ready.

However this process is on YOUR time. Don't let H rush this process for you. You need to feel, you need to think

You need to take care of you.

(((( ))))

Wow...what a night!

I posted a few months back about wanting to get a dog, but H never wanted one.

I've always said I was going to get myself a female basset hound and name her Luccy, and tonight I made that dream come true.

I rescued a 4 month old female and her name was already Luccy. If that isn't a sign, what is?

WHG-

She is adorable! I figured a dog would be better than a H at this point in my life.

My cats, however....seem to disagree.

Is it a male or a female dog?

Because I'm not sure about your assertion... if it's a male dog he'll leave you for the first b*tch in heat he comes across. Of course he won't know what he's doing and he'll eventually come back to you, but only after getting his rocks off wink

So see? They're not all that different smile

Thanks for the laugh!

She is a female...remember? Her name is Luccy?

She does awesome on a leash. I took her for a 2 mile walk this morning and I must have tuckered her out because she is passed out next to me. smile

Journaling---

I made chicken enchiladas for dinner last night for "family dinner night" and they turned out awesome. I've never made them before but both boys devoured them and said I need to make them again.
We've all come to love that night of the week.
It's pretty special.

No contact from H since early Sat morning and I doubt I will.
I just want to get this whole D process over with.

All right, DG! grin I know you had been talking about it! Two Cs, huh! My dog's name is Lucy (One C). When she tears something up or misbehaves, she is Lucy-fer. laugh

Awesome! I'm so glad to see you've rebounded and you're doing some of these positive things!

Not that I can say I would do any better, but try not to focus on this too much. Focus instead on these positive things you're doing and the positive, everlasting, hard-earned changes you've made.

And you're going to share the recipe, right? We kitchen-challenged single guys need all of the help we can get.
