My emotions just prevailed over my logic. Long story short, I basically told me W that she's beautiful via text message. She said, "Thank you. That's sweet." After realizing that a comment like that could chase her away I sent her a message that said, "I'm sorry. I probably should have kept that to myself. I couldn't resist though. I'll stop". She replied, "It's fine. Made me smile". I wrote back "I'm glad".
I'm not sure which is worse...telling her she's beautiful (pursuing) or apologizing for it.
