And this is why I dislike online dating. I really don't want to sell myself. I am not good with self descriptions, don't feel like writing a paragraph that is supposed to describe my whole being.
Gabby, your still young, you work in a field that has quite a few eligible men I would think, so I can understand on line wouldnt suit you, but some of us, who are "older" and i wont say how much older lol and our jobs ( or even lack of jobs!) do not quite give us that opportunity, decided that on line was an option for us, I also joined our churchs' single group, .... 2 men ( one gay) and 32 women, yup lol I gave on line a try on and off, met some great men and the best one i met, i've been with for 5 yrs and am engaged to, he too worked as an engineer, not a career too many women our age are a part of, so for us it worked , and worked great, A few of us from the board have had great luck with this Barb, for one, Que is married to her on line love, they are very happy , so it does work for some, and I personally didnt see it as selling myself, not anymore then I did when friends set me up on a blind date. Just saying its not for all of course, but there is a high percentage of people now meeting and marrying this way.
