Didn't get my exercise in last night, so I took care of it this morning. I took to the ground and ran 2 miles in frigid 36 degree temperatures.
Had brief contact with my W this morning. She brought my S by the house to get his backpack and to change clothes. Her hair looked nice, so I complimented. She did what she's always done and said thanks, but discounted the compliment. Later she called - by accident. I was on the road, so I called her back. She had meant to text me something Cub Scouts. All pleasant interactions this morning.
She also texted me about a bowling party she's going to with her dysfunctional friend. Her dysfunctional friend's boys are going to be there, so she asked if my S could go. I haven't responded yet. At first I thought she was inviting me to go, too , until I re-read the text. Not that I'm overly eager to go. I think I'm going to respond and ask her what time the party is. I was actually thinking about taking my S to church for a Student Ministries meeting on Saturday evening, although that's something I don't have to commit to. I'm not going to make it too easy; however, I did have my S pretty much all day last Sunday and it was her weekend.
