There wasn't too much drama today, and that's a good thing. My S forgot to pack his lunch (yes, he's 10, but he's packing his own lunches for school - I am VERY proud of him) last night. We figured that out about 5 minutes before the bus came. So we went with the no-huddle offense and worked together and got it done. The bus came down the street and we hopped in the car and I drove him down the bus stop in reverse, Bo Duke style. So that was our excitement for the morning.
My W came to pick up my S after work for the evening and to take him to Cub Scouts. It was very brief interaction. I was eating dinner at the island in the kitchen and she just hung out in the dining room, but we could still see each other and hold a light conversation.
My GAL'ing tonight was my Men's group at church. It was an awesome meeting tonight. I am getting connected with an amazing group of guys! I am getting a ton more support from the guys. Getting closer to God has been the best by-product of my situation. I know He is truly using my situation for good, I just can't see the whole picture yet!
I still have to do some more work for my job tonight. Then, since I took the morning off of exercise, I think I'm going to go out for a run/walk. I'll probably cover 2.8 mi. and run 1.8 - 2 mi. It's getting pretty cold out there. It's 39 degrees at the moment. Brrr!
So that was our excitement for the morning.
