It's funny you say that, because that is why I read your posts also. Well, that and because I genuinely like you and am concerned about how your doing.

I know now, but I didn't know 8 months ago, that I am doing everything I can to save my marriage.

I'm doing what others have suggested I do, shut the door but not lock it. It's hard, and sometimes it hurts like h*ll, but I have to.

Yes you are!

Now if we do lock it before our spouse decides to knock... well I guess that part of the story will unfold with time.

You're doing great DG. Keep it up!

Journaling---

I am so exhausted! Part of the carpet was installed today and the kids & I have been busy putting their room back together.

It looks SO nice and they love it. We can't wait for the rest of it to be done on Wednesday. It will look especially nice with the new color on the walls.

Big step for me tonight guys. We moved H's dresser out into the garage. I didn't want to, I really didn't, it kind of made me feel like part of him was still with me, but it wasn't healthy.

So now my bedroom is mine, all mine.
Still makes me sad though. I wanted to make this work, I really did. I feel like I have given as much as I possibly could.
I just wish he knew what a mistake he was making.

Journaling---

Another busy day ahead of me.
I am taking a half day today so I can go to some appts. My IC, doctor, and then S10 has a long over due eye appt.

Rush rush rush.

Tonight we need to get everything out of the living room so they can install the rest of the carpet on Wednesday.

I can't wait for everything to be done.
However, a few days of chaos is completely worth it when everything will look so nice when it's finished.

My poor cats, LOL. They have no idea what to think about the disarray of the house.

I hear that. You are a treasure, DG, and you truly have given it everything. Your H is blind yet refuses to see, and unfortunately you cannot make him see.

I can tell from your posts that you are looking forward a lot more than you are looking back. Well done.

Thanks TM- I am really, really trying.

Sometimes it is really hard, but I don't need to tell you that.

I am currently at my IC's office waiting for my appt. I feel like I have so much to discuss with her, an hour may not be enough!

Journaling----

I fell asleep at 7:30pm last night, I guess you could say I was tired. I feel great this morning.

The rest of the carpet will be installed today so when I come home from work I'll have brand new carpet! Tonight will be spent putting the living room back together which shouldn't be nearly as time consuming as the bedroom was. I'm hoping anyway. I just need to get through today and then (hopefully) life will be back to normal.

At least all of this will be done before the Holidays.
