reading a book now from a guy by the name of brian tracy called, "eat that frog"
brian tracy is one of america's leading authorities on the development of human potential and personal effectiveness.
this book details 21 practical and doable steps that will help stop procrastination and get more of the important tasks done. this may sound silly as to be the topic of my next thread, but as i have mentioned many times over the last few posts, 2004 is gonna be MY year (yes yes, and everyone else's here too!) and you will understand why i am doing this as time progresses
brian tracy says that there is an old saying that if the first thing you do each morning is to eat a live frog, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that's it's probably the worst thing you'll do all day
my life is so totally disorganized, and so naturally is overwhelming as well. from personal to emotional to physical - all my needs are not being met, and it's become painfully clear to me that it's been because of how much i don't take care of me. well that is about to change
i have many goals for 2004 - goals i am about to set forth as journaling in my upcoming threads
i have decided to place my focus on me, and not on my sitch. i am moving forward, getting on with my life. i would love for hubby to be a part of that but i am letting go. i have to in order to make me a better person - i have come to painful realizations about myself over the last few months, but i am MOVING FORWARD cause living in the past does NOTHING
i will be sharing over the next several days the steps that is outlined in this book. hopefully you all will get as much benefit from these as i have, and together we can all make 2004 our year - you will notice as i post the different steps, how closely they resemble the db principles, and you do not have to apply these steps just to becoming organized, but becoming a better person who has their CRAP together
