A book I read "Micro Trends" had a section on online dating sites. In 2009, they did a sample of newly marrieds and 17 percent of the marriages that year met online. That's as many as the ones who met at church.

Hey, Wii, just be realistic. The experience is a lot different for men than women. Women get like 10 times the number of emails. It takes time, just like any other way of meeting women.

I like being on the sites just to have something to check occasionally. I've dated one girl off Match. The lady I took to lunch last week was off OKCupid and I'm now exchanging messages through one on Plentyoffish.
