Landlord has decided to paint and re carpet my place...finally! I've only lived here almost 10 years! He picked out the carpet (which won't be cream!) And he let me pick out the paint so I've been looking at paint samples and have decided to go with a light mocha. He stopped by tonight and told me they will be painting this week so I've been busy taking everything off the walls and arranging things so they can get in here and paint. All I have to say is thank God I am an organized woman or else I would be freaking out by now. (Well, I still sort of am)
Having this done makes me feel so good. This place will feel more like mine, and I won't have gross carpet and might actually want to have people come over. It gives me something to look forward to.
My ex husband is going to help move furniture when they carpet at the end of the month, and I am so appreciative that he is willing to help. When push comes to shove, we are there for one another when it really matters.
Never heard a peep out of H regarding his bday, but like I said, I didn't expect to so it is what it is. I was nice enough to say it, and I don't regret that.
I'm doing a 5k on saturday in memory of my step siblings mother who died of a brain tumor. I am looking forward to that, and praying for nice weather!
