We picked up floor and paint samples yesterday. Booked my brother for the end of next week. He'll install the flooring...haven't picked one out just yet.
CJ called around to see about having our living room drapes cleaned. ...We thought about updating them. But with the red wall, the gold in them pops...plus they were custom made, good fabric.
CJ also cleared up a bunch of stuff in the basement. Including some of those beer cases! He brought me down to show me.
So today, despite the three feet of snow outside, I started cleaning out the kitchen cupboards. We discussed updating those, but may just go with a new counter top. Everything in our house is pretty much original 1967 brick bungalow.
We agree that the bathroom should be next....
