I think I remember reading very early on in my sitch that rarely does a man leave his wife and family unless there is another woman. Did I imagine that or are there stats somewhere to back that up?
Me 54 DS19 and DS17 Married 06/1989 Divorced 01/2011
Although in my case, I left because my W had started her As with OM1 and OM2...
The stats might be skewed to a very specific sitch of "H is WAS and leaves home"... might be close to stats of "W is WAS and leaves home"... or maybe even the condition of "H/W is WAS and asks for time apart from LBS"...
What I have heard is the WAS generally does not commit unless they have a soft place to land. This is true in my sitch. Despite her intended OM not committing she had a soft place to land with an Aunt sympathetic to her tale.
BITS Me 55, ACK, when did that happen? Doesn't feel like 55 D 30 S 27

i second what stunned says, from my short experience with this, my w(WAS)has a warm place to go (sympathetic sister in Ohio), otherwise would have remained in Jersey. Good luck with your sitch!
