Am I ever grateful for houses and gas furnaces...it's -33 out without the wind chill factored in!!! We know it's getting down there when the house starts creaking (it's not an old house per se).

BTW Celcius and Faranheit meet up at -40...so you all know it's COLD!!

Okay, I KNOW Alaskangal can beat this...where's she been?

CJ drove me to work today and took down the tree. I noticed he looked pale, and sure enough he has this cold too...guess it's rest and fluids tomorrow.

Gee - and I've been whining because it's been 60 during the day here lately! Guess I really am a total wimp!

Hi Shiny.

Take it easy and get rid of that cold huh? And make sure to wash your hands before coming on the BB. I don't want to get another cold - I am just getting over one!

It's 0 out here right now and a -15 wind chill. I am going out to work on the skating rink again today. Hope that by this weekend when it's in the 20's the kids will be able to skate.

Have a great day!

Thanks totite and Ellie...60 degrees!!! We're paying through the teeth and wearing two sweatshirts at at time just to keep our HOUSE above 60!

Oh well it warmed up to -18 (without the windchill) today.

We're both still sick with our colds, but plugging away at our work none-the-less. CJ's out picking up fixin's for dinner. I won't be on long enough to catch up, that's for sure! But there's always later tonight...

Shiny

P.S...I don't know if it's my imagination, or my own relief at having told CJ how far along I am in forgiving him, or if it's affected him in subtle ways, but things just feel "brighter and lighter" between us. That make any sense?

Yes I think so!

I believe at least knowing your forgiveness is that far along is helpful to him on his journey to forgive himself!!

Sure! After my weekend convo with h I had ASSumed that his loving attitude and "relief" were a result of him telling me of his continued confusion...but perhaps it was more hearing that I was actively working on my forgiveness and happiness and felt that our love was special???

I think that's it, Sage!!

Just a few minutes to catch up before dinner...things are fine here, but for the coughing and nose-blowing.

Be sure not to cough or blow on the monitor!

I don't want anything!

It has been another wonderful dog sort of evening!

Sometimes I wonder why I love them, then I look at their smiling faces and see the unconditional love and I know why I love them.

Have a great night and hope you are sleeping!!!

Hi All,

Still alive...barely. Are colds supposed to get WORSE on day 6 and 7?

CJ and I are both getting pretty sick of being sick.

Yesterday at dinner I said "Well at least we're not sick alone" (meaning, how nice it is to have someone around when we're sick...as in we could be sick on our own)...CJ took it differently, I suppose, as he responded "Yeah, like you could be itching to get out and do something, while I feel like crap... it's Friday night"....

Sorry to hear that you and CJ are feeling crappy.

These little 'bugs' that are going around do seem to be getting tougher and meaner, yes?
