Shiney,
I put my wedding ring back on some time ago, but H does not seem to careone way or the other if I wear it.

I do it to show to him I FEEL married, and to let him know I WANT this to work.

I look forward to the day that he'll want to wear his band again.
Maybe 2004 will be the year! Rachael

HI Shiny! Happy New Year!

I am with Rachael. Wear your anniversary ring with pride. I have never taken off my wedding ring, while my H hasn't worn his in years. I hope that some day he will - but for now, I have it on the dresser in our bedroom.

Sounds like you guys resolved the misunderstanding. Good for you for talking about it. I'm not into name calling either, but if it slipped out, it must have been for a reason.

Kissing and hugging on New Years? Me and my H too (and a little )- now if he would just come home!

Keep up the great work...you guys give us all hope!

Thanks Gals! Hi All...

Just spent a gruelling day (yes, I was up by NOON!! ) pouring over exams, correcting marks, making overheads, organizing lectures....

One negative side effect of losing some of that perfectionism is having lots of stuff to do at the last minute! ...Pish posh, it will all get done!

Yesterday CJ and I brought back the end table (which was sent in the wrong colour), saw "The last Samurai" at the show and went out for dinner. All very enjoyable!

One of those things happened last night that has happened FREQUENTLY all through our R, right from day one.

I was doing my laps around the house ...it was 10:00 p.m....I checked the menu for what was on T.V. (jogging in place!)...On my way out to the living room I said to CJ (who was channel surfing a moment ago) that the only good options were an archaeology special, and "The Exorcist"...By the time the last rolled past my lips I could see he ALREADY had it on "The Exorsist" and had the other progam on "last channel"! (That Movie is one of a VERY few that has the power to scare me!)

I feel really lucky this way...CJ and I have remarkably similar tastes/views on almost everything: music, clothes, movies, politics, religion and T.V.

On our premarital "compatibility test"...we had a 98% similarity rating!!! ..The deacon interviewed us personally...maybe to see if it was for real?

I didn't comment on it last night, just smiled and remembered him snarling (a year ago) that we had nothing in common!

Shiny

P.S....I just remembered one of the test items we scored differently on:

"Would an extra-marital affair end your marriage?"

CJ answered "No" (the correct response?)
I responded "Maybe"!!!!!

that movie has always scared the crap out of me....I cannot ever have a four poster bed as a result of it....often ran past my parents bedroom as a kid (I don't know when I first saw the movie but it still scares me)

nice to be in sinc with your man!

someday...who knows...maybe I'll feel that way too...but it sure don't seem that way...I'm a wife not much more.

HI All,

Busy couple of days...lectures went fine, but all sorts of exam related troubles to sort through...and I have a cold...

Wa Wa Wa....

Time to do some catching up, while trying to stay awake...not much sleep last night, hoping to capitalize on that and NOT take a nap before bedtime!
