Tough tough week. One of my dearest loyal 4 legged friends left us this week, my heart aches with the emptiness left behind.

H and I 'celebrate' another anniversary in a few days. I woke with a start one morning thinking the day had already passed and I forgot it. eek I expect nothing from H, I'll find a card for him.

mamamo, thanks for the reminder, I used to do that and forgot about it.....

WCW,

I know of what you speak and my heart goes out to you.

As far as the anniversary goes, I hope you get pleasantly surprised.

Hang in there.

Sorry to hear that. Why don't you think H might get something for you...positive vibes and all. Big hugs and congrats.

kat, based on history and who he is....and at this point he is still not ready for mushy anniversary stuff. I didn't make a big deal of anything, gave him a simple card, he said 'oh yeah, happy anniversary'. But all week since then H has been extra great. See, he's got to do things his way. Is that just my H, or is that more of a typical guy thing?

I am not sure. My ex used to do the little things that made special days special. Other things, not so much. He was/is definetly an only child and acted like it most of the time. If he didn't have my attention he would sort of sulk. Having 4 kids you would have thought he would have figured out that he couldn't always come first. A baby isn't going to change itself after all! lol

How does that match up with your H?
