It's sad, but when they are in the infatuation stage, it's like a drug. My DB counselor mentioned the endorphins, dopamine, etc.... feel good stuff during that stage that makes them do stupid $hit like choose time wiht OW over S.

Once reality hits him and the infatuation becomes stark reality, it will bite him hard the way he's acting now - especially where a child is concerned!
