Add me to the list of people who would like a silver bullet.

I know we grow and learn from this, but quite frankly, I'm tired of growing and my head hurts from all the learning LOL.

Having a better day today, although still not awesome. I have a dr. visit next Wednesday to do more evaluation on the BB and may ask for a prescription for an AD at that point - I thought I wouldn't need it, but it seems like this is going to drag on.

I have been on AD for most of my adult life, but never on the right dose or combination until this year and it has made a world of difference.

If it helps you, then by all means do it.

Mail from OW's husband today - apparently he believes my H is moving down to be with her in the near future. Abandoning his son.

What's the word for shocked but not surprised?

Would he really do that? What leads him to believe this?

At one time, I would have told you that there's no way H would ever abandon his son. But then he had an affair and moved out, so clearly I don't know him at all.

I honestly believe that he would do that, yes. I definitely believe that he's going to try and structure our visitation agreement around what's best for his ability to visit his OW, and that it will in no way be geared toward what's best for S7.

Have been doing a lot of reading, and am wondering if STBX has NPD - he has almost (but not quite) all the signs.

Would explain a lot.

In doing more reading, I find myself convinced that STBX is a "stealth narcissist" - it explains why he's "done this all before".

I know that it doesn't change anything, but it does help me understand - and anticipate - things. I actually feel better than I have in 2 months. I'd been beating myself up, saying 'How could he discard everything we had? How can he say the same things to her that he said to me? How can he toss away his son?'

Well. Because that's what they do.
