She did remind me of the retreat she's going to at the end of the month. I offered to go in her place She reminded me it was a Ladies' Retreat. I jokingly said something like, "That'd be OK with me!". Not much of a reaction from her, just a small chuckle.
I hope the retreat will serve as an awakening to her and be a time of spiritual renewal. God can do mighty things!
