I know you keep posting about the iPod speaker thing... I'm guessing it's because your H is still all over that...
Thing is... and...??? Really...? They're iPod speakers... are they really expensive or some one of a kind speakers, he can't just run to the store and get another...? I mean really... some of the higher end ones cost $70 maybe, but the run of the mill type that most have are around $15 to $25...
But here's the thing... it is an opportunity for him to use to be all over you, once again, about how everything wrong is your fault... directly or indirectly... common stuff...

On the iPod thing, the next time he brings it up, ask him what will solve the problem... That's one of the things that stops my W dead in her tracks, when she's on attack mode... They really just want to dump all over us, because they don't like how they are feeling and they figure misery loves company... Find out what kind of speakers they are, and if they're relatively inexpensive, go buy a set and give them to him and tell him to STFU and you'll ask the cleaner to be more careful...
He's not emotionally detached from you... by no means... just keep your head on straight and try to maintain your sense of humour around this kind of stuff... because really, this stuff is redonkulous...
