I think new friends can see old statuses after they've been added. For me - I was happy to be able to post a few things here and on FB about my anticipation or disappointments. But everyone has their own comfort levels.
One of the real downsides of FB is TOO MUCH INFORMATION>
We all know things about friends of friends of friends that we probably never wanted to. And also about our kids etc. For instance - I've seen photos of tattoos on my kids' FB pages that I would not have known about otherwise. And probably wish I didn't. LOL.
I still maintain that I am glad Josh and I are not on FB together. Who needs that when you are conversing in other ways.
