Sometimes I do ok at 'Just be' and sometimes I don't. I just wish for consistency of emotion.
Anyway. Tomorrow is Saturday, which means shopping for planters. That's right, you know you envy me.
Your sense of humor cracks me up girl! Just sayin!

Had a nice happy hour tonight - probably about 3 hours spent on the patio of a beautiful restaurant, overlooking the water, hanging out and munching on apps (this place does the best vegan spring rolls, om nom nom!)
Hung out with coworkers including the "friend", so that was fun. Nothing serious, but he's a nice guy. Cute too.
Now I'm home, the cat was angry ("Foooood!", he meowed!) and I'm going to watch some Boston Legal and hang out.

I am trying to have the same attitude as you. The "Why's" and "How's" can make you go insane if you keep trying to find answers to the questions that are spinning in your head.
That is good advice.

Had a good night - stayed up until 4am (not the best idea) chatting with a friend who has a very reasonable and rational outlook on things - always helps to talk with him, as he doesn't say things just to comfort me - he discusses things logically, then explains *why* that should comfort me.
I know it seems silly, but I'm such a logical person that rational discussion and then framing that in a way that helps me feel I won't always be sad is a big boost.
Then I got woken up by not one, but two issues at work - oh well!

I'm glad your chat went well. That's kind of how I feel about my brother. He always puts things into perspective and doesn't just tell me things I want to hear. Some of the things he says are hard to hear, but he is never rude. He is the only person I talk to about my sitch other than you guys and my C.
I hope today is going well for you.

Home now from running around. Went to a garden store (successfully purchased a new lovely planter for my zizi plant) and some new gardening gloves.
Also hit up Trader Joe's for menu items for the next few days (I'm hopelessly addicted to their shrimp gyoza and S7 loves their mac & cheese). Dropped by Lowe's to look for other flower pots, but no luck. Sad face! Also hit up the regular grocery store for the most important thing - Diet Coke.
Tomorrow S7 and I are going to head downtown to the Pike Place Market for wandering around, and then we'll have lunch with one of my coworkers who loves kids but doesn't have any - he and S7 bonded over legos last week, so that'll be fun. (And safe, since we both like to check out men, if you catch my meaning.)
S7 will be home from his dad's in a couple hours, so I'm just relaxing in the basement - it's hot here today.
