Donna, I do ask her to repeat things and sometimes I can tell be her expression she's trying to process whatever I've said. I speak very quickly when excited, just as she does, so it's just as hard for her sometimes. Her English is very good but her Filipino accent when excited takes getting used to. I speak with her 15 minutes at a time, so there's never a long period where we speak and can really master that communication. tomorrow will be a great chance for us both to really learn to talk with each other. Once she was telling me something on break, looked at me and started laughing and said "You have no idea what I just said, do you?" and I replied, "absolutely none!" It will come in time, it doesn't worry me. Been there, done that!
