I went straight from 98 to XP. I had to use 2000 at work for awhile and it plain SUCKED!
I'm in techno-heaven! Just got my old 250 Zip drive hooked up and a new device that allows you to hook up a VCR so we can record all our old Northern Exposure expisodes on DVD!
I got a little weird today...spent my VS gift certicficate on retro-Bettie Page type stuff & came home to wake Wolfie up. Got a huge grin out of him!
After he left, though...I went straight downhill with the PMA. Got to thinking about the cloths and things he bought her (must have needed a paper bag for over the head too). I know that at this point that I'm supposed to be able to talk to him about the crap that runs through my head at times like this, but...spare me...I don't want to talk about my hurt and vulnerable feelings and have to see him put on his "martyr face" and roll his eyes.
Must be the Wakiyan--Thunder Spirits--affecting me. The lighting and thunder is coming on with the first snow of the season. I always have been particularly sensitive to the Wakiyan.
I'm glad that some folks take hope in my situation. I guess that is as it should be. It will be years of healing though--and I still need support from all of you.
