I missed these posts yesterday about Jack Layton. ALthough I was not an NDP supporter - I loved Jack Layton. He was a great man! I cried when I heard. But I also cried when I saw him on tv when he was leaving parliament to fight his new cancer. I knew he would not be back.
I did not know what he had done for your Dad but I was really touched by it. I also read his letter. Maybe you would post it here - touching words for all.
As for MM - I am happy for you. My lawyer had advised me NOT to get divorced. Financial reasons. I chose to do it anyway. It is my opinion that the emotional divorce is the most important part of it all anyway. But that is just me. In fairness to MM - just make sure your are done with your wife for sure.
And that said - enjoy! She sounds like someone special.
