This discussion is interesting. My XW's 40th birthday is coming up. The marriage was falling apart when I turned 40 and not only didn't she do anything for it, she shot down a plan by my daughters to throw a surprise party.
That was 2 1/2 years ago. Now, I've been toying with getting her black balloons delivered to her work with a simple happy birthday.
