"And if they train REALLY well, they can go to the corner store during the games if supplies run low..."

Already tried that...they keep slobbering on the steering wheel and never put the seat & mirrors back to the original positions.

Got a great deal on everything, so I actually have $$$ to buy something to sit on.

Cool! cool

Now this is VERY cool! cool cool cool I think this reminds of the job you are doing to GAL and the man you are. I'm sure it feels great! I know where you are emotionally, but it's nice to get that kind of feedback.

Put in 2 hours at the gym, then went grocery-and-other-essentials shopping. That put me in a down mood...I remember how depressing shopping-for-one was after my first divorce, and I thought, "I'm right back where I was 12 years ago."

Fortunately I think I'm better equipped to handle this one, and I'm not rushing headlong into a toxic relationship.

But I still said a few choice words to myself about W and how her actions have put everybody in a tight spot.

And I can't even watch my new TV because W took the cable box connections with her (!!#@!??%*!!#!).

I guess I could connect the surround sound system and watch my "Saving Private Ryan" DVD for the zillionth time...

It sounds like you had good afternoon TCB (taking care of business), but it also seems a lot of us are down, down, down today. Maybe it's because it's the beginning of the week? I don't know. But I hear you about having a few choice words about how the WAS's actions are causing us to have to suffer unpleasant consequences. Grrr....
On a different note, Saving Private Ryan is going to be REALLY LOUD with that surround sound!!! Maybe you should go by RedBox and pick up a flick!
Hang in there....

tm, I'm happy for you and all, but this whole conversation reminds me of one important facet of my own R.

*MY* Roku is at the W's house smile Man, I have a lot of stuff over there...

Seriously, cool toy, almost makes up for the lack of a Roomba.

I get to go grocery shopping tonight, too. I try to look at as an opportunity to be around people and be upbeat around them. Though I definitely understand where you're coming from - it also reminds me of the single days I was glad to leave behind. I do have a little pride, though, because I can burn through the grocery in about 1/3 of the time it would take my W and spend considerably less money.

You are ABSOLUTELY NOT where you were 12 years ago. I have seen you make great strides even in the time you've been on this message board. C'mon, give yourself some credit!

No problem! I just sent KD out after her! She's not going to know what hit her! Seriously, this is fixable. I think you can roll with it.

Thanks. I know I'm a lot healthier this time around. I guess what I meant was that I'm in the throes of a separation/possible divorce again. that was not part of the long-term plan.

"Seriously, this is fixable. I think you can roll with it."

Of course. Had to grumble a little bit...

I hear ya there. After my first D I vowed to myself never, ever again.

It is true what they say...never say never.

I went grocery shopping last night. Boy was I living it up on a Saturday night!!!
