Even the dogs are melancholy; they seem to know something is very different. They also are at my feet constantly now, as if they are afraid I'm going to leave, also.
Yea, they’re very perceptive to changes in the pack. My pup doesn’t stray too far and has become a little overprotective. It is a trait of his breed.

Oh for the computer, erasing and deleting from the HD is not sufficent. With a little time I can recover most to all if this is all that has been done. We used to use a piece of freeware called "WIPE" to prevent data from being recovered on HDs discarded from th shop. It has been years since we worried about it and longer since I used the utility, but I am sure there are varients of it still around.
