Possible WAW to Piecing? (Part 2)

So I could use some help.

I try to sleep in our bed. She asks me to sleep elsewhere.

What next? Do I say something like "You are still pretty upset with me, I assume that's why you want me to sleep elsewhere?

What's the right 'first line' in response if she asks me that?

Also - if SHE just ends up sleeping elsewhere...say nothing? Offer additional apology for the other night? What's the right approach???
