I know! It is crazy. My Dad's birthday is the start of the mad birthday period. My dad and I are 5 days apart, my youngest is 13 days later, the boys are a month later and just 3 days apart. We get a break in October and then my oldest daughter in November just before the holidays.
Only hard part is not getting to see her until around 9 tonight. We did celebrtate this weekend and dinner last night but for me somehow it isn't the same. To her, she is getting a drawn out birthday! As long as she is happy with it, I will be fine.

OMG!! My boy's high school caught on fire. For those of you who are connecting with me on the alt, I have posted a short clip of video. I hope it isn't too bad. School starts next week. I am so sad. ( Yet, still happy for my baby!)

Sorry!! I didn't even look at my own thread. Oooppss! The fire ended up creating about $400,000.00 worth of damage. I believe they said most of it was contained on the roof. They had a fire clean up company come in and clean up the building.
School should start on time. You can only imagine how thrilled my 15 year old is! NOT!! Summer has just flown by. I am not sure if it felt that way to them but it did to me.
I get to finally take my car in to get the hail damage repaired. About 2800 worth of work to be done. They will have my Smokey Kat for 2 weeks!! I am going to drive my really old car, the one that S18 had been driving. I was filling up fluids etc and S15 started the car and he came up and said Mom the mirror fell off! Yep the rearview mirror came off. It is pretty heavy so I went and got a new one which is pretty light. This will be the car that we will be doing some perlim. driving in for him, so I really need to get a few things on it fixed.
Money just seemed to fly out the window lately but it seems to be slowing down, especially if I don't have to pay $400 for a rental. Next month is the boys birthdays and as we all know I go a bit crazy. oh well, I keep saving so I am starting to balance things out a bit. Oh and I have started writing. Not in a book format yet. I have about 4 ideas going on at the same time and am just jotting down ideas and notes right now. Wish me luck.
