well, the family pet had lyme disease last summer and the ex was always too cheap to bring the pets to the vet so while he was in Poland, I brought the dog to find that he had the disease. Well, he got really sick this past weekend, I took him to the vet (thank God for my dad, he paid) and the disease got to his kidneys and liver so he is basically dying. I have to give him injections to flush his system out. Well, the dog doesn't live with me, so I waited to show the ex how to give the injections, but he couldn't. Needles are not his thing. So everyday I will go over to give the injections. The OM called me the other day and I answered the phone. When I hung up, my daughter heard me mumbling to myself and she asked what was wrong, I just made a comment about men being a pain and then I said except for your dad. She rolled her eyes and said oh please mom. I asked her why she does not like it when I compliament her dad, speak well of him or if I come over on Sat morning and he is still in him underwear--she gets mad. I though she would be happy that even if we don't get back together, we get along so well. She told me that she doesn't want to see us other because once and if we ever got remarried, we would just be fighting all over again and she doesn't want to listen to the fighting anymore. I told her how both of us have grown and we have learned from our mistakes. But her response caught me off guard.
