My H hasn't wanted to take anything from the house. I gave him some towels (with his name embroidered on them), and he took one of our tv's (we had 3), and his tools, clothes and toiletries. He was supposed to take the lounge from the rumpus room - but he bought one (as did I to replace the one he was taking and now I'm stuck with two lounges), he is also supposed to take the PS3, some speakers and an amp from the lounge. And he took our whisky set - was a wedding present. Everything else he doesn't want. My daughter even said yesterday dad when are you taking your wine - to which he said oh I don't know one day - and then I said um excuse me it's not all dad's. I packed up all his dvd's and such and also gave him a dinner set.

I feel like telling him to come and get his stuff - I'm not his storage - but he's paying half the mortgage - so in a way he's entitled to leave his stuff here. I guess I think in the back of my mind that while he's not in a hurry to get all his stuff he maybe having doubts about whether he's done the right thing.

I was thinking of packing up H's stuff, just to speed things along, but someone here reminded me that it's not my job to take care of him, and my energy is for S7 and me now.

Had a good evening last night - hung out with S7 a bit, but he went to sleep fairly early, as he was worn out from his day with H. Had these awesome new Lean Cuisine meals - Spinach & Arthichoke dip. I'm not usually a fan of "frozen" meals, but these are super tasty.

Hung out and chatted online with a friend of mine for a while - talked about vegans/frutarians/etc. I've gone pesco-vegetarian now that H is gone (I was veg for a long time before H, but he's basically a carnivore, so it wasn't possible while living with him.)

Was really tired by about 10:30, which is unusual for me - probably the workout. Headed to bed and listened to my "Positivity" meditation - fell asleep halfway through.

I did wake up in the middle of the night with a nightmare, and at first was upset that H wasn't there, but then remembered that even if he had been, I wouldn't have been able to hug him - he gets so hot at night that he's all covered in sweat and honestly, it was gross.

Was proud of myself for so quickly "self-soothing".

Hung out in bed with S7 this morning and watched cartoons - nice lazy Sunday morning. Now we're going to go play a game, and later grocery shopping. I know you're envious of my jet-set lifestyle.

I know this is a weird thing to be bothered about, but H is taking all the wall art from the living room on Monday, and I'm stressing about what to replace it with. I know that looking around the living room at the bare walls will just upset me. It's so bad I'm considering asking him to leave it until I find a replacement, but I don't want to do that.

Guh. Stupid thing to be bothered about.

yay! She used "Guh" today...! smile

You could always replace the art with a dart board... with a picture of him tacked on it...

KD - Happy to oblige. wink

I would go with the dartboard idea, but I worry that S7 might take it wrong ..

I've decided I want a big swirly wrought iron thing that holds lots of candles. Now I just have to find one.

And you know what? I don't even freaking know how to hang something in the wall! We had a drill, but he took it because I'm not really qualified to use it.

Not going to ask him for help, although I think he'd be thrilled if I did (part of his "we can be friends" campaign that I refuse to buy in to). Wonder who from the office I could get to help me ... there's a cute single guy that looks handy ...

Ran out to Target to get more Lean Cuisine Spinach & Artichoke dip. I may have a problem. Took both kids with me - they had fun. Bought S7 a little toy - he asked for Legos, but I suggested that's a better thing for him and H to buy, as I'm rubbish at putting Legos together.

Picked up various groceries - had not realised until yesterday how awesome their grocery section is, and much cheaper than other places. Forgot milk, though - boo.

Came home and worked out - only did 20 minutes on the treadmill (I'm trying to make myself do 40-60 one day, then "let" myself do 20 the next). Trying to figure out which day will be my "off" day - thinking Fridays, as I hope to be doing more "going out".

lol... so... no problem, then... lol!

If only they had chocolate, coffee, sugar, and grape by-product in there, they'd cover the complete food group. laugh

Great to see you in good spirits...

speaking of grapes... smile
