Grr that sounds AWESOME!!! It is always good to involve yourself in giving back because no matter where we are, we have places to go!!!
it makes me feel like I have a little control in some things that are outside of my control
My daughter is a gem!!! She is fabulous and amazing and reminds me everyday of hard fought battles and that the little skirmishes are in no way the final war
today I have been especially reminded of the battles that our warriors fight...I belong to a facebook support group for parents of kiddos with a particularly devistating form of epilepsy called infanitle spasms. The neuros believed that Finn portrayed some signs of this and it is possible that she should have been diagnosed with this (she had 2 of the 3 diagnosing criteria, seizures and delays but missing the specific chaotic brain wave pattern called hyppsarythmia) ANYWAY...long story here...the support group on facebook that I belong to is pretty amazing and we all support each other through meds and seizures and wheelchair fittings etc and this morning at 3am, we lost a little warrior...Joseph celebrated his 19 month birthday with the angels...
I guess I was reminded today that there are certain things that just matter more than others...
