rachael,

sometimes ya gotta reach that point where you're just not waiting anymore...

imp,

sure I'll take you out to dinner..but can we bring along a few chaperones in the form of dbr's if ya don't mind...I don't want to be responsible for the effect my boots may have on you!

so my son is adorable...let's just hope that his daddy doesn't rub off on him too much...

he's outside playing with his shovel and I'm sitting on the front porch watching him.. I tell him he looks like he's about 10 (he's 4) he say's "I'm going to be grown up soon" I say "what are you going to do when you grow up" "well I'll drive a tractor to break up this ice" "will you live here" "yup" "will you do your own laundry" "yup" "will you mop the floor" "yup" "will you cook" "yup" will you cook for me" "sure!" "will you make your own bed" "yup" "you can live here forever then" "smile from son" "will you have a wife" "son says nope and points at me"

now aint that just cute!

I know it's not ever going to be reality but heck he does already fight with me for the vaccum and I can't bake a darn thing without him wanting to help me so I'll take it while I can and hope that he some day meets a nice person to SHARE his life with and I'll try not to be to sad to lose the little guy.
